Tommy Phelan, a Civils Team Leader based in Kirkby, has been undertaking civils and ducting work associated with utilities services for most of his working life. And one thing that’s important to him is ensuring his van and its equipment are spick and span.
“I work on the B2B and Major Programme side of Virgin Media projects, that involves installing ducting and apparatus to enable connections to be made to business premises and mast sites,” explains Tommy.
“I’ve been doing this type of work for many years, mainly ducting and reinstatement. But it’s important to me that my van is always clean and equipment is taken care of.
“We spend so much time in our vans, it’s like a second home, so it’s important to me that it’s keep clean inside and maintained well – especially when you end up eating your lunch in it most days.”
Svella Connect is definitely a family affair for the Phelan family, Tommy’s son Connor is Operations Manager while daughter Georgie is a Commercial Assistant.
